This page provides information on current Northern Territory Police Force investigations where public assistance is sought. It includes calls for information, active public appeals, and details of rewards currently on offer.

Angie Fuller

Angie Fuller

Angie Fuller was 30-years-old at the time of her disappearance and was last seen on 9 January 2023.

Angie was believed to be travelling in her vehicle a maroon Toyota Corolla on the evening of Monday 9 January 2023 on the Tanami Road, 15km west of the intersection with the Stuart highway.

She has not been since that time and was reported as missing 48 hours later with an extensive land search operation being conducted.

Angie was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and a beige skirt, she is of Asian heritage, medium build with long black hair. Despite extensive investigations, no trace of Angie has been found and it is suspected she has met with foul play. Police believe there may be individuals who have knowledge of what happened to Angie.

A reward of up to $500,000 has been offered for information that may progress this investigation. Payment of the reward will be at the sole discretion of the Commissioner of Police. Any person providing information may also be eligible for indemnity from prosecution.

Norman James Lawson

Norman James Lawson

Norman James Lawson was 16 years old at the time of his disappearance and was last seen on either Tuesday 21 October or Wednesday 22 October 1986.

Norman was camping with four associates in the Kakadu area near the South Alligator Crossing of Old Jim Jim Road having arrived on Sunday 19 October. Norman spent the following days fishing with a cast net and on the morning of his disappearance was seen near the river fishing before walking along the road in the direction of the Bark Hut Inn. Norman’s other possessions remained at the camp site.

Norman’s associates said that when preparing to leave the camp, Norman had not returned and they identified Norman’s track walking along the road and large crocodile tracks in nearby water courses.

Northern Territory Police were formally notified on 26 October 1986 and formalised searches of the area did not uncover any sign of Norman. Investigations did not uncover any evidence of Norman’s movements after his disappearance. Investigations did not conclude or exclude the possibility of foul play.

Police believe there may be individuals who have knowledge of what happened to Norman.

Kwementyaye Nelson

Kwementyaye Nelson

Kwementyaye Nelson, on the evening of 28 November 2014, was dropped off by family members on the side of the Stuart Highway, approximately 17 kilometres north of the Three Ways Roadhouse.

The following day on 29 November 2014, his family returned to the location and found his body next to the Stuart Highway approximately 12 kilometres north of the roadhouse.

He died from injuries consistent with being struck by a motor vehicle.

Police believe there may be individuals who have knowledge of what happened to Kwementyaye Nelson.

Peter Marco Falconio

Peter Marco Falconio

Peter Marco Falconio was 28 years old at the time of his disappearance and was last seen on 14 July 2001.

Peter was driving with his partner Joanne Lees on the Stuart Highway, approximately 10 kilometres North of Barrow Creek in the Northern Territory. At approximately 7:30pm, the couple were stopped by Bradley John Murdoch under the guise of Murdoch having observed a mechanic issue with the vehicle Peter was driving.

When he exited to inspect the vehicle, Murdoch shot and killed Peter and later disposed of his body at an unknown location. Evidence presented at Murdoch’s trial identified that he was in Alice Springs at approximately half past midnight on 15 July 2001 and drove to Broome via outback roads arriving on the late evening of 15 July or early morning of 16 July 2001. Police believe that Peter’s body was disposed of prior to Murdoch arriving in Alice Springs but cannot rule out later disposal on route to Broome.

Police believe there may be individuals who have knowledge of what happened to Peter.

Richard Ken Roe

Richard Ken Roe

Richard Ken Roe was 40-years-old at the time of his disappearance and was last seen on 2 November 2016.

Richard’s vehicle, a 2004 Holden Commodore station wagon, was later found abandoned just south of Chinner Road on the Stuart Highway near Lake Bennett. No one has seen or heard from him, nor has he accessed his bank accounts.

To date, police have little information on what happened to Richard but hold serious concerns that he has met with foul play. Police believe there may be individuals who have knowledge of what happened Richard.
