About
The small community of Imanpa was originally established on a 1628 hectare excision from Mt. Ebenezer station in 1978.
The purpose was to relocate a drinker’s camp from the Mt. Ebenezer Roadhouse and establish a centre for displaced stockmen from several pastoral properties in that region.
Hiking, camping and 4WD driving are enjoyed around the area, there are some beautiful hidden places to explore.
Education
Imanpa School caters to primary and middle school years. Imanpa community and secondary education is delivered in the community by a teacher from Ngangatjatjara College, Yulara.
Health
A permanent health clinic staffed by one nurse is located within Imanpa community.
