Emergency Response Areas
The Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service is committed to the protection of life, property and the environment against fires and other emergencies throughout the Northern Territory.
The Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service responds to all incidents in Emergency Response Areas. Outside of Emergency Response Areas, the service responds to all hazardous material incidents and transport accident rescues. Other incidents outside Emergency Response Areas are responded to where sufficient resources are available.
