Detectives from the Major Crime Squad are continuing investigations into a homicide and an alleged hostage incident in Howard Springs overnight.

Two people have been charged with assaulting Police during an attack which began when Officers tipped out alcohol they were allegedly consuming on a public oval in Malak on Wednesday.

NT Police Officer Summonsed to Face a Charge

“A 40 year-old female Police Officer has been summonsed this afternoon to face a charge of ‘false or misleading documents’ relating to an alleged offence committed while off duty," Acting Commander, Ethical and Professional Standards Command, Bruce Porter said.
