Ex-Tropical Cyclone Lam – Update #14

Commander David Proctor, Region 2 Controller advises that with the immediate threat of the cyclone now passed, authorities are focussing on ensuring the safe restoration of essential services and maintaining the health and safety of residents.

The Bureau of Meteorology advises a minor flood warning remains in place for the Waterhouse River, with the water level at Beswick Bridge expected to reach the minor flood level (7.70 metres) this morning.

The Bureau of Meteorology has advised that TC Lam is expected to maintain Category 4 intensity as it moves over the coast near Galiwinku.
