NT Police continue to search for missing 84-year-old man Idolo Catalano.

Territory Duty Superintendent Helen Braam said Mr Catalano was last seen in the Humpty Doo area at around 2pm on Wednesday 18th of February.

“He is described as approximately 162cm tall, skinny build, blue eyes and olive complexion with grey/white hair, a scar on his right cheek and a prominent pacemaker.

“He was last seen wearing a black and white chequered shirt, denim jeans and black dress shoes.

“Police believe Mr Catalano may be driving his grey 2003 Mitsubishi wagon which has a white patch on the front bumper - NT Registration 701 610.

“The vehicle has some mechanical issues, including a hole in the radiator. The direction of travel is not known, but it is possible he has travelled south on the Stuart Highway.

“Mr Catalano has a number of medical issues and is in need of regular medication.  NT Police are extremely concerned for his welfare and ask that persons sighting Mr Catalano or his vehicle to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
