Northern Territory Police have charged a 41-year-old male following a series of property offences in the Darwin area.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said the male was arrested on Sunday and interviewed yesterday in relation to a number of unlawful entries and stealing offences.
“Upon a search of his vehicle Police located a quantity of alleged stolen goods totalling $30,000 which included tools, wallets, phones, and credit cards.
“Further, Police located 5 grams of methamphetamine, 3 ecstasy tablets and a small quantity of cannabis.”
He was interviewed yesterday and charged with:
- Aggravated unlawful entry
- Aggravated unlawful use of a motor vehicle
- Stealing (x4)
- Damage to property (x2)
- Interfere with a vehicle
- Obtain benefit by deception (x2)
- Possess thing to administer dangerous drug
- Possess dangerous drug
- Possess methamphetamine – traffickable
- Drive a motor vehicle while unlicensed
- Drive Unregistered Motor Vehicle
He will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court today.
