Northern Territory Police continue to search for three youths who remain outstanding after absconding from the Barkly Bail Facility in Tennant Creek over the weekend.
Police located and arrested a second youth, aged 14, yesterday afternoon. Three youths, aged 16, remain outstanding.
Police are actively working to locate the youths and believe they remain in the Tennant Creek area.
Information received by police indicates the group may be attempting to leave Tennant Creek and could seek to steal a vehicle to do so.
Police are urging residents to remain vigilant and take precautions to secure their homes, vehicles and property.
Residents are strongly encouraged to ensure vehicles are locked, keys are secured and not left in easily accessible locations, and valuables are removed from sight.
Police continue to conduct patrols and enquiries across Tennant Creek to locate the outstanding youths.
Anyone who sees the youths is urged not to approach them and to contact police immediately on 131 444. Anyone with information about their current whereabouts is also urged to contact police.
