Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to a pedestrian strike in Bees Creek yesterday.
At 3:00pm, an 8-year-old male was struck by a vehicle travelling along Bees Creek Road near the intersection of McAulay Road. He suffered serious injuries and was conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital, where he remains in a stable but critical condition.
The driver of the bus and the vehicle involved in the crash both stopped and are assisting police.
Detectives from Major Crash continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Detective Senior Sergeant Brendan Lindner said “Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident to make contact. Investigators are particularly interested if you have dash cam footage of a Blue Ford Falcon Sedan or a passenger bus travelling along Bees Creek Road at the time.
