Northern Territory Police are continuing their investigation into the critical incident in Palmerston on Tuesday.

A 19-year-old male remains in hospital in a critical condition. 

Assistant Commissioner Michael White APM said police investigations have now ruled out a link to an alleged domestic violence incident in the area earlier in the morning.
