The Northern Territory Police Force is calling for information in relation to a stolen motor vehicle in the Greater Darwin area this morning.

Around 4am, police received report of a vehicle being stolen from a residential property in Rapid Creek.

The stolen motor vehicle, reported to be a Red Toyota Landcruiser, was observed by CCTV operators being closely followed by a White Toyota Troop Carrier.

A pursuit was initiated by Casuarina General Duties during which a tyre deflation device was successfully deployed on the Red Landcruiser on Vanderlin Drive.

Two male youths aged 14 and 17 were arrested and two other passengers fled the scene.

The white Toyota Troop Carrier remains outstanding and is suspected to be stolen.
