At approximately 10:30 am yesterday, a 52-year-old woman was allegedly robbed of her handbag on Tsolos Place in Ludmilla.

The victim was walking towards a bus stop on Stuart Highway when she was approached by two unknown youths on BMX bikes. The offenders rode up behind the victim and snatched her bag from her shoulder before fleeing in the direction of Bagot Road.

The offenders are described as male, of Aboriginal appearance, one wearing a dark grey hooded jacket and shorts and the other wearing a black cap, a white striped shirt and shorts.

Police are urging anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, or has further information that may assist police; to call 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
