Stolen Motor Vehicles - Winnellie

Police



Police discovered the vehicles had been stolen after locating one of the cars abandoned on the oval at Dripstone Middle School while conducting patrols on the area at approximately 03:30 am. Upon assessing the car, Police realised that the car belonged to a car yard on Farrell Road.

When Police attended the car yard, they found a hole, large enough for cars to drive through, cut into the fence.

The second of the stolen vehicles was located after the offenders crashed it into the front yard of a residence in Lyons at approximately 04:20 am this morning. Two offenders were seen running from the green Ford Fairlane and can be described as:
* Late teens
* Caucasian males
* One blonde / One dark hair


Police are also on the look out and would like the community's help to locate another stolen vehicle which was reported to Police at approximately 05:15 am this morning. The Silver Toyota Starlet was reported stolen from a home in Anula. The home had been broken into and car keys and a wallet were stolen.
