Northern Territory Police are seeking public assistance to locate missing person Lachlan Burgess.

Mr Burgess was reported missing to police on Monday 14 September 2026 after last communicating with his family on 7 September.

Mr Burgess is known to travel between the Palmerston area and his workplace in Dundee.

He is believed to be driving a Queensland registered Nissan Patrol displaying registration 818HVC. The vehicle was last detected travelling on Cox Peninsula Road on 7 September.

Mr Burgess is described as 48-year-old, approximately 175cms, of medium build, with grey hair and olive complexion.

Police urge anyone who has seen Mr Burgess or his vehicle since 7 September, or who has information about his whereabouts, to contact police immediately on 131 444 and quote reference number NTP2600089000.
