Three people will appear in court following an unlawful entry at the Alice Springs Turf Club.

Superintendent Michael White of the Southern Investigations Division said it is alleged a man aged 49 and two women aged 25 and 30 gained entry to the club at around 1:00 am on Tuesday by smashing windows.

“Whilst inside, they have set off intruder alarms before attempting to flee the scene empty handed. Responding security guards attended and intercepted them,” Superintendent White said.

“Police were called and upon arrival, arrested the three. They have been charged with aggravated unlawful entry and criminal damage and will appear in court at a later date.”
