An 18-year-old woman will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court in relation to the aggravated assault of a 28-year-old man.

Sergeant Shaun Furniss said the offender allegedly removed several nozzles from fuel bowsers at Nightcliff BP just after midnight.

“A 28-year-old man confronted the alleged offender who has thrown a bottle filled with petrol at his face.

 “The woman was arrested by Police a short time later, and charged with aggravated assault and bail was refused. She will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court this afternoon.”
