Methamphetamine Charges - Darwin

A 31-year-old male has been remanded in custody after Detectives from Strike Force Trident conducted a search warrant.

The man has been charged with Possess and Supply a trafficable amount of methamphetamine, Possess Cannabis, Receive Property in the Commission of an Offence and Possess things to Administer a Dangerous Drug.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said the charges were finalised following investigations as a result of the search warrant in April this year.

“$33,900 in cash found at the time of the warrant has been ordered to be forfeit as proceeds of crime and an application to have this male declared as a known drug trafficker will also be placed before the Court at his next appearance,” Detective Senior Sergeant Stringer said.

The man has been remanded in custody until 6 January 2016.
