Northern Territory Police are investigating a series of property offences involving a stolen motor vehicle overnight.

Detective Senior Sergeant Rob Jordan said just before midnight a silver Mitsubishi Lancer, NT registration 901827, was stolen from a residence in Woodroffe.

“Shortly after the vehicle was involved in a ram raid at a licensed venue in Berrimah where a quantity of alcohol was stolen.

“Around 1.25am, the vehicle was involved in a service station drive-off in Bakewell. The vehicle was also captured on CCTV attempting to ram raid a Rosebery service station.”

On several occasions during the night, police attempted to apprehend the vehicle, however all attempts were terminated due to the dangerous manner in which the vehicle was being driven.

“This is extremely frustrating for police and members of the community. We assure the public that police are working tirelessly to resolve these type of incidents quickly and safely,” said Detective Senior Sergeant Jordan.

“We encourage the members of the public to not engage with the vehicle or its occupants.”
