Members from Strike Force Winx have charged a 22-year-old male for stealing a horse in Alice Springs.
Detective Superintendent Michael White said that the incident occurred on 4 March 2017.
“It is alleged that the man stole a horse from a property in Alice Springs and rode to a town camp,” he said.
“The horse was recovered a short time later.”
The man was arrested yesterday and charged with:
- Stealing (x2)
- Trespass (x2)
- Damage property
He is due to appear in the Alice Springs Local Court today.
