Alice Springs Police have arrested and charged a 14-year-old female in relation to an incident of aggravated unlawful entry of a home in Sadadeen overnight.
It is alleged the youth was in the process of unlawfully entering a car parked out the front of a house when she was disturbed by the owner around 1am.
The youth allegedly forced her way into the home armed with a weapon when one of the occupants has fended her off and a struggled ensued.
Police attended and arrested the girl at the scene. No one was injured during the incident.
The teenager will appear before the Alice Springs Youth Justice Court on Monday, May 21 charged with one count each of:
- Aggravated Unlawful Entry
- Aggravated Assault
- Criminal Damage
