Northern Territory Police have arrested a man in relation to an aggravated assault that occurred in Darwin CBD on Sunday morning.

The 22-year-old surrendered himself to Police and was arrested at the Darwin Police Station by Serious Crime Detectives.

He remains in custody with charges expected to follow.

Police continue to urge those who witnessed the incident to make contact on 131 444 and quote job number P24168489.
