Northern Territory Police have arrested three males for alleged arson and property offences.
In the early hours of 20 February 2020 it is alleged the trio attended a business where they forced entry, stole a number of items, and lit fires. The fire caused costly and significant damage to the building contents and structure.
A 16-year-old male was arrested by police in Tennant Creek on 13 March. A 15-year-old male was arrested by police in Tennant Creek on 12 March. A second 15-year-old male was arrested by police in a remote community on 17 April.
All three have been charged with:
- damage to property
- unlawful entry
- stealing
- arson.
They have been bailed to appear in Tennant Creek Youth Justice Court on 11 May, 14 May, and 22 June respectively.
