Northern Territory Police have charged an 18-year-old male and a 21-year-old female for stealing a vehicle in Alice Springs.
Detective Superintendent Michael White said that the vehicle was stolen from East Side on 17 March.
“The offenders allegedly drove the vehicle around Alice Springs and then to the community of Amoonguna,” he said.
“A member of the community alerted police to the vehicle and the offenders were arrested a short time later.”
They were both charged with:
- Stealing
- Unlawful entry
- Damage to property
- Drive while unlicensed
- Unlawful entry
They will appear in the Alice Springs Local Court today.
