Stabbing – Charges – Coconut Grove

Serious Crime Detectives have charged a 35-year-old man for allegedly stabbing a 34-year-old man.

Detective Senior Sergeant Annette Cooper said the two men were involved in an altercation at a residence in Coconut Grove at around 5pm on Monday.

“Police allege the offender stabbed the victim in the torso and neck and fled the scene.

“The victim was transported to Royal Darwin Hospital and remains in a stable condition.”

The 35-year-old-man was arrested by Police and charged with:

Serious harm

Possess controlled weapon

Possess offensive weapon                                             

He will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court today.
