Alice Springs Police are currently searching for a male person in relation to an Unlawful Entry in Holterman Court, Alice Springs overnight.

Watch Commander Siiri Tennosaar said a resident woke to discover a male person in her unit at about 5am this morning.

“The man has fled after being confronted by the resident and Police are asking for anyone who may have seen a male person running from the area at the time to please contact Police.”

Watch Commander Tennosaar said the person ran away in the direction of a laneway at the cul-de-sac of Holterman Court.

“Police believe the alleged offender has taken items that are unique including a black Pentax digital camera and a small black pouch containing a blood sugar level testing kit.”

Anyone who may be able to assist with a description of the alleged offender or who may have seen items similar to the property reported as stolen is asked to call Police on 131 444 or contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000
