An 18-year-old man appeared in court today following the assault of a taxi driver in Larrakeyah.
Senior Constable Jon Spencer of the General Crime Section said the man was arrested in Palmerston shortly after 6:00 last night.
“He was charged with robbery and appeared in court today,” Senior Constable Spencer said.
“A second male was located and arrested at midday today and has been charged with similar offences”.
Both men are alleged to have been involved in the assault and robbery of a 24-year-old taxi driver which occurred in Temira Crescent, Larrakeyah, at around 11:30 pm on Saturday.
Only one suspect remains outstanding.
