Northern Territory Police would like to identify a man who stole an amount of cash from the BP service station in Katherine.

Superintendent Brent Warren said the man took advantage of a vacant front counter at about 9.30 pm on Tuesday January 10th.

“The offender was wearing below the knee army shorts a black, white and green T-shirt and a grey and white baseball hat.  He was also carrying a small dark coloured backpack.”  Superintendent Warren said.

Anyone who may be able to identify the man or who has any other information is asked to call Police on 131 444 or phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
