A 41-year-old Alice Springs man will face court this morning, accused of stabbing his partner.
Police were called to Abbotts Camp just before midnight on Wednesday.
“A 40-year-old woman had been stabbed in the stomach and thigh.” Said Detective Senior Sergeant Travis Wurst.
“Police arrested the alleged offender yesterday afternoon and charged him with Aggravated Assault, Possess/Carry/Use a Controlled Weapon at Night, Breaching a Domestic Violence Order and Breaching Bail.”
He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear in the Alice Springs Magistrates Court this morning.
