NT Police Officer Dismissed - Darwin

The Northern Territory Police Force has terminated the employment of a 27-year-old Police Officer following an internal investigation by the Ethical and Professional Standards Command.

The investigation commenced following a disturbance at a licensed premises in the Darwin CBD on Sunday 30 October 2011.

“The Officer was suspended from duty pending the outcome of the investigation, and was yesterday dismissed effective immediately from the Northern Territory Police Force.” Said Acting Commander Lance Godwin.
