Graffiti Vandals to be Erased - Alice Springs

Police

Alice Springs Police are reviewing CCTV footage to identify those responsible for graffiti damage in the town.

The trend has slowly increased over the last 12 months, causing considerable clean-up expenses for local businesses and the community.

“Young people may look at this as harmless fun, but the reality of the damage caused is quite significant.” Said Senior Sergeant Dave Richardson.

“Police have listened to the business community and are working in partnership with them to bring the culprits to justice.”

Anyone with information relating to the identity of the vandals is asked to contact the Police Assistance Line on 131444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
