Drug Arrest - Palmerston

Officers from the Drug and Organised Crime Squad have arrested a man on numerous drugs charges.

Members of the Palmerston Tactical Team Police attended the Gray residence in relation to arresting the 28-year-old man on outstanding warrants.

While in attendance, Police observed chemicals and alerted DOCS Officers.

“A further warrant recovered nine containers of chemicals, including a pseudoephedrine extraction, which Police will allege were to be used in the making of illicit drugs.” Said Detective Acting Superintendent Peter Schiller.

“A clip seal bag of zero-point-six grams of Methylamphetamine was also seized.”

The 28-year-old has been charged with Possessing Methylamphetmines, Possessing a Precursor to Dangerous Drugs, Producing a Schedule Two Substance and will appear in the Darwin Magistrates Court at a later date.
