Police advise that the Arnhem Highway between Freds Pass Road and Produce Road has been re-opened to traffic after yesterday’s fatal crash.

Detective Senior Sergeant Debra Gabolinscy said although the road is now open, Police are still calling on witnesses of the crash to come forward.

“If you were in the area at the time of the crash and haven’t yet spoken to Police, you are encouraged to call through with any information on 131 444,” said Detective Senior Sergeant Gabolinscy.

“Police continue to urge drivers to take extreme care on the roads, especially in the lead up to Christmas.  Please pay attention, watch your speed and be patient, you may arrive at your destination later than intended, but it’s better than not arriving at all. Let’s try and keep the roads free of any more unnecessary trauma this festive season.”
