As a result of the investigation, a witness has come forward and provided Police with information stating that they saw a car in the area between 2.30 am and 3.30 am that morning. The vehicle is described as a silver single cab utility similar to a Holden or Ford. Police believe this vehicle may have been involved in the collision and are keen to locate it.

Police are also calling on any witnesses who may have seen a similar vehicle being driven, towed or transported during the days following the death that was bearing significant damage, particularly to the windscreen.

Any information could be of assistance including if anyone is aware of a person who normally drives such a vehicle but has not done so in recent weeks.

They would also like to remind people that they may be committing an offence if they are assisting any person in hiding this vehicle.
