Police are calling for witnesses to criminal damage done to the playground on Davidson Street, Alice Springs overnight.

Vandals have extensively damaged the equipment with the Alice Springs town council putting the cost at over $10,000.

Police would like to talk to anyone who may have been in the area overnight or who have any knowledge of this incident.
