Arrest - Unlawful Entry - Hidden Valley Tavern

A 29-year-old man has been charged in relation to an unlawful entry at the Hidden Valley Tavern earlier this week.


The offender handed himself in at Darwin Police Station at about 6:15pm yesterday, where he made admissions to unlawfully entering the premises in the early hours of Wednesday.


It is alleged the man and two co offenders, attended the tavern at 4:40 am where he smashed a glass window with a rock to gain entry before removing six bottles of spirits and fleeing in a Toyota Camry.


The man was charged in relation to the following offences a


Criminal Damage-prepare/commit/conceal
Unlawful entry
Stealing

He was bailed to appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on 14 April 2011.


A second man aged 26, is currently in police custody assisting with their enquiries.
