Missing person - Darryl Ryder - Alice Springs

Police

Darryl Ryder was reported missing by his family in June this year after having not been seen since he visited the Hermannsburg Community in October 2009.

His family believe that he could be somewhere in the Northern Territory and would like him to make contact with them.

There is no information to suggest Mr Ryder's disappearance is suspicious.

To date only one sighting of Darryl has been confirmed - he was sighted in Casuarina Square in June 2010 by a close family member.

"With the assistance of the public, we remain hopeful that someone knows of Mr Ryder's whereabouts and we would encourage them to contact police" Superintendent Michael White said.

"Having a loved one go missing is a traumatic experience for a family. Mr Ryder or anyone who may know of his whereabouts is urged to contact his family or police."

Police would like Mr Ryder, or anyone knowing his whereabouts, to contact Alice Springs Regional Investigations on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, to ascertain that he is safe and well.
