A 42-year-old man was arrested after police found almost one kilogram of Cannabis at his home in Alice Springs.

Police then executed a search warrant on the man's home and located seven Cannabis plants in pots, a small amount of Cannabis in the fridge, and 909 grams of Cannabis packed in 69 separate bags. The estimated street value of the Cannabis if sold in Alice Springs is $45, 450.

The man was arrested and charged with possession of Cannabis, possession of a commercial quantity of Cannabis and possession of tainted property.

He appeared in the Alice Springs Magistrates Court today and bail is yet to be determined.
