Police attended the man's Moulden house in the early afternoon to execute a search warrant. Upon arrival police located the offender in the process of dividing a large amount of cannabis into a number of small clip seal bags, before he fled outside in an attempt to throw the drugs onto the roof.

The following items were located and seized as a result of the search;

A substantial amount of cash.
The man was arrested and conveyed to Darwin Watch House where he was charged with supply cannabis and possessing a trafficable quantity of cannabis. He has since been bailed to appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on 15 November 2010.

Detective Senior Sergeant Clint Sims from the Drug Enforcement Section said police will continue to target these dealers who attempt to profit from selling drugs in our community.

"The Remote Community Drug Desk receives information from the public on a daily basis, our message is clear - if you insist on dealing drugs, we will catch you".
