Members from the Drug Enforcement Unit arrested two men yesterday in relation to a number of drug and firearm offences.

During a search warrant at a house in McMinns Lagoon police located and seized a small amount of methylamphetamine, 104 cannabis seeds, an unsecured .303 calibre rifle and an amount of ammunition.

A 22-year-old man will be summonsed in relation to the following offences;
possessing cannabis
possessing methylamphetamine
possessing an unregistered firearm
failing to secure a firearm
failing to secure ammunition.

A 26-year-old man has also been charged with producing the schedule 2 substance, methylamphetamine. He will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on 10 August.
