Members of the Commander's Tactical Team arrested a 34-year-old Alawa woman at her home in relation to an incident that occurred at the premises of 'The Planet' in Nightcliff.

At about 11.00 pm on Friday 16 January the woman allegedly removed a quantity of cash from the till and left the premises. Once outside an employee who witnessed the incident approached her and asked for the money back but the woman left the area in her vehicle.

Members later attended at the woman's residence, arrested her and conveyed her to the Darwin Watch House where she was charged with stealing. She was bailed to appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court on 5 February.
