The Northern Territory Police Force is investigating after a vehicle was stolen in Katherine earlier this morning.
Around 5:45am, police received a report that three male youths had threatened a woman and stolen her blue Jeep Cherokee.
It is alleged the males, who were driving a buggy at the time, approached the victim in her driveway on Mott Crescent and threatened her. The three offenders allegedly physically pulled her from her vehicle, with one entering it and driving away, while the other two fled the scene in the buggy.
Police responded and the victim was assessed at the scene for bruising to her arm.
The Jeep, which remains outstanding at this time, has reportedly been sighted driving erratically several times across Katherine this morning.
Police have since recovered the buggy involved, which has been identified as being stolen from Knotts Crossing earlier.
