Arrests – Aggravated Burglary – Alice Springs

The Northern Territory Police Force has arrested four offenders following an aggravated burglary in Alice Springs this morning.

Around 6:20am, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre (JESCC) received reports that multiple people were breaking into a residence on McMinn Street in East Side.

It is alleged the 18-year-old female occupant located an unknown person in her kitchen, before she locked herself in her bedroom and called police.

Members from Strike Force Viper and general duties attended the scene and discovered that the front door had been forced open, with alcohol allegedly being stolen from inside.

Cordons were established and CCTV was reviewed. Three males aged 16, 21, and 22, and one 25-year-old female, were located nearby allegedly in possession of the stolen alcohol and arrested. They remain in police custody at this time.
