The Northern Territory Police Force is calling for information in relation to two aggravated burglaries in Alice Springs overnight that both occurred on Griffiths Place. 

Around 3:20am this morning the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received a report from a 77-year-old female of intruders on the premises of an address on Griffiths Place.

Two youths are alleged to have smashed the glass door to force entry into the house, demanding keys from the occupants.

The 87-year-old male occupant struggled with intruders attempting to force them out and sustained minor injuries to his leg and hand.

No property is believed to have been taken.

Strike Force Viper are investigating this incident as well as another burglary that allegedly occurred on the same street overnight.

Police are urgently calling for anyone with information or footage including CCTV or those with dashcam who were driving in the area at the time to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
