The Northern Territory Police Force is seeking public assistance to identify the driver of a vehicle that travelled along Larapinta Drive in Alice Springs on Wednesday 23 September 2026.

In particular, people are keen to hear from people who may have dash cam or CCTV footage of the pictured vehicle, described as a white Holden Captiva displaying South Australian registration S 568 BMA. The driver of the vehicle is believed to be able to assist with an ongoing investigation.

The vehicle is understood to have travelled west along Larapinta Drive, passing the Araluen Arts Centre and through the nearby roundabout between 3pm and 7pm on Wednesday 23 September.

Investigators are urging anyone who was travelling in the area during this time, or who has relevant CCTV or dash cam footage, to review their recordings and contact police if they identify the vehicle.
