Sexual Assault – Alice Springs

The Northern Territory Police Force is investigating an alleged sexual assault that occurred in Alice Springs early this morning.

 Around 4am, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received a report of a sexual assault that had occurred at an address in Gillen.

It is alleged a 35-year-old male unlawfully entered the residence and sexually assaulted an adult female known to him before fleeing the scene.

Police and St John Ambulance attended, and the victim was conveyed to hospital. A crime scene was established, and police are actively searching to locate the offender.
