The Northern Territory Police Force has arrested four male youths after two vehicles were stolen in Lajamanu and Kalkarindji early Friday morning.
Around 3:50am, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received a report of a stolen motor vehicle in Lajamanu.
It is alleged a white Toyota Prado had been stolen from a residence in the community before travelling to Kalkarindji, where the offenders allegedly entered a power station and stole a second vehicle.
Police responded and a pursuit was initiated, however, it was terminated due to safety concerns.
With assistance from community members, both vehicles and their keys were subsequently recovered.
Four male offenders aged 12, 14, 15, and 16-years-old were arrested.
