On Wednesday 8 April 2026, a member of the Northern Territory Police Force (NTPF) was served a Notice to Appear in relation to traffic offences allegedly committed in March 2026, in the Northern Territory whilst off duty.
The 36-year-old male recruit Police Public Safety Officer is scheduled to appear in the Darwin Local Court on 20 May 2026, on the charges of:
- Careless Driving
- Not stop or assist after crash
- Fail to report crash
The male is no longer employed by the NTPF.
