The NT Police Force is calling for information in relation to an aggravated robbery that occurred in Katherine on Monday 17 November 2025.

Around 9pm, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received reports that while a 30-year-old female was leaving an address on Harrod Steet in her vehicle, a group of youths allegedly surrounded the vehicle and blocked her path.

It is alleged that one of the youths opened the driver’s side door and struck the female to the head with a blunt weapon while attempting to take the vehicle keys. The offenders were unable to steal the keys and fled the scene shortly after.

The victim suffered a laceration to the head and was treated at the scene by St John Ambulance.

The offenders remain outstanding and investigations are ongoing.
