The Northern Territory Police Force is calling for information in relation to a burglary that occurred in Alice Springs earlier today.

Around 7am, two unknown male offenders allegedly unlawfully entered a residence in Parke Crescent, The Gap.

It is alleged they stole car keys and cash before attempting to steal a vehicle parked in the driveway. The owner of the residence was home at the time and approached the vehicle as it was started, removed the keys from the ignition and pulled the offender from the driver’s seat. The offenders allegedly knocked the victim to the ground, kicked him and fled on foot with the car keys and cash.

Police responded and a crime scene was established. The victim did not require medical treatment.
