Arrest - Domestic violence - Alice Springs

Police are calling for information in relation to an aggravated assault that occurred in Alice Springs yesterday morning.

Around 7:30am, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received reports of a male allegedly assaulting a female known to him in the vicinity of Herbert Heritage Drive and the Stuart Highway.

Police and St John Ambulance attended, and the victim was conveyed to Alice Springs Hospital for assessment.

The 41-year-old alleged offender was arrested at the scene and has been charged with Aggravated assault. He has been remanded to appear in court on 15 September 2025.
